reasons for being miserable
Moonhogg - Captain Coffee Break Posted Jan 5, 2006
My car is in a garage, very poorly. The guy says it will cost £1400 to get back on the road. The car only cost me £800 to begin with!
Here's the ironic bit. Remember in the book version of H2G2, where Marvin plugs himself into the computer of the spacecops' ship, and it gets so depressed it committed suicide?
I got a Marvin keyring for Christmas. I put it onto the set of keys with my car-key on it. The first time I drove the car with my new keyring, the car broke down. The reason? The computer died! Honest truth. The keyring is now banished to a drawer.

Well you know, after all, it's MY prolem, not theirs, isn't it ? I mean ait's silly to expect that you mean the same to people they mean to you - that's just not how it works. I know all this, and yet, there are days when I'm extremely miserable.
