I am most of the time politically INCORRECT. I like to call a spade a spade. which has caused me a great deal of grief in my long life. And will probably continue to do so.
I am getting really excited about going to the Summer Meet and meeting in RL the many friends which I have made on this virtual Friendship gathering place. I wish you could also come. Have you seen the photos of the wedding - they are really super.

Ages ago you said nice things about some articles of mine (Rochester Castle and the Heysel Stadium Riot) and I was planning to catch up with you at the Meet on Saturday, but I only went along for the evening shenanighans, whereas you only seem to have been in the park. Hope all's well, anyway!

I often think about you as I did go to Rochester, but it was too much for me to go to the celebrations. And you did write so well about them. I must fly now as I have to prepare lunch, then I am going to get some plants at a half-price sale, then taking my son to the golf range so that he can teach a friend of mine to drive, then coming home and finishing the work for my lecture tonight. I shall get up to date with your home page hopefully tomorrow.
It would have been nice to meet you. Third time lucky perhaps!!.

Hello AR1, I must apologise for looking so blank when you introduced yourself the other day at the meet. I often find that I don't look to see who is posting what, unless it really makes me laugh, and my memory is quite shocking.

I replied to you yesterday but somehow my answer has got lost. It was great to meet you.It is already a week ago.!. When I was at Varsity we were studying the concept of Time in philosophy. How would one describe Time.? Well I said that it was something that went very slowly when you were young and very fast when you were old.!! And that is what I feel now. Time is just rushing by.
It was a lovely meet and I so enjoyed meeting all of you. Go well and next time I hope we can have a chat. In the meantime I hope we meet often on the net. Very kind regards and thank you for the flowers. AR1
