There will be a period of scheduled downtime from 23:00 GMT Tuesday 1st December 2009 to 05:00 GMT Wednesday 2nd December 2009. This is to carry out server upgrade and maintenance work.

Huge apoloiges. I totally ballsed up. Apparently it's a mailbox server that's being worked on and it won't affect h2g2 at all! 
I'm very sorry for the confusion. At least you're not as confused as I appear to be. I'm off for a strong coffee.
