Wrong format or wrong skin, that is the question.

You should never put in a link which depends on the skin, or which forces the reader into a particular skin. Starting the Forum link with F should work in all the skins.

Gnomon, when I created my posting I also tried the 'clean' version with just an 'F', however, than the browser wouldn't jump to the correct posting number. And this was more important to me than an intact skin.

Just tried the F-Version with Brunel and it jumpt to the correct posting for me.

I think if you want to go to a particular posting, the best way is to use skip= with 1 less than the number of the posting you want to go to.

For example, F77633?thread=203193&skip=123

This should work with any skin.

Firstly, you shouldn't put all that stuff before the F, because that forces it into a particular skin. Secondly, you should have subtracted 1 from your posting number and put skip=127.

So is this better:

F77633?thread=203193&skip=130 ?
