I got out of bed specially to post that
Am between internet connections at the moment - having just moved house again, I'll have Telewest Broadband as of Wednesday... in the meantime I can only get on by going downstairs, unplugging the phone of the people I'm staying with and connecting on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Other than that my only access is at work where I'm back working shifts, four days a week, and it's been quite busy recently - I reckon this is only my third post since about Monday, which is something of a record!

GreyDesk Posted Feb 28, 2004
Yes I thought you'd been a bit quiet of late. I hope you have a better experience of Telewest than most around these parts (or more correctly not around these parts any longer ).
I suppose I had better start the marking...

Number Six Posted Feb 28, 2004
Oh, you mean the digibox thing... took me a while to work out what you meant there. Or were you referring to their legendary 'almost as bad as ntl' customer service?
I've been with Telewest for getting on for three years at my last flat - eventually I concluded that once you eventually get past customer service and get your mojo working, the slightly cheaperness of them makes it worth it. Strange though, I never even considered trying to access h2g2 through my digibox...
I'd better have a more successful Fantasy League day tomorrow, or I'm going to drop off the top of the league again - how come I only do well in the Fantasy competitions when Argyle are having a blip? Just shows you can't have you and eat it, I suppose.

I missed out on a full house by the width of a Filbert Street goalpost! Ah well, there's always next week, as we Bradford fans say every week...

I have to win this, as it's looking increasingly likely that I'll owe Egon £10 on an unrelated wager.

You think that that's bad. With 1 minute to go I was on for making a £40 profit on this week's games. Then Lua-Lua went and scored and my profit dropped to about a fiver
Key: Complain about this post
