'Ere, Babel, are you going to put something about this in the Post upcoming events doohickey, or is it being kept to people we have drunkenly waved at?

Will put something in the Post by the end of the wek, ready for next edition. Actually just posted it up on Titania's noticeboard too
Lets get the word out, people.
Anyone you know on h2g2, mention it to them in passing.

EV, I thought INternational Rhubarb Lovers was a pretty good explanation to the IRL abbreviation. If it doesn't really add up gramatically.. Well, tough.
The word will be spread... This link will be shown... Arrange it, and they will come...

Yea and verily, for it is written that all the sons and daughters of Pissendom shall gather at the seat of Arthur fortysix days after the moon turneth red in the skies, to worship the great god Cyrrhosis by Intentionally Ravaging Livers.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours pint.
Amen

Amen, brother. And you will know our time has come, when the score(s) of people gather for the feast in celebration of the Brew of the Malt, the Yeast and the spring water.
Not that I like the stuff myself, but it sounded good..

Kinda like ice skating while drunk then. Well, without the skates. And the ice. and the fact that you don't have to do anything yourself but stand on the escalator. Actually, it's got nothing to do with ice skating.
Erm.. When's the next train to Glasgow?

Oh yes, have fun, those who are going to the Old Printworks this evening, while I pack my bag and gnash my teeth .
Also, I am looking into, for the Edinburgh meet, booking a room in a travel inn and, as Master Babel has suggested, the price is the same, no matter how many you have in the room. Hence, would any of the out of towners be interested in sharing, perhaps. I'll be booking next week, whatever happens, but feel free to think about it.

4:12 pm. Train from Greenock West to Glasgow Central.
I just needed a quick change of subject there, as I didn't have a clue where I was going with that last post..-)
Travel Inn would be an option, as you said, Munchkin.
Beats the hell out of sleeping on the stair outside Princes Mall, is all I can say.

Just realised that figure I gave you Munchkin was slightly wrong. It should have been 15.50 per head with 3 sharing. Still cheaper than a B&B. 5 Minutes walk from Haymarket Station for those requiring trains, and if you walk down to the station, then you can catch the express bus out to the airport, for those who are flying in. Ok, looks like I need an accomodation section on the page. I am sure at a push, we can get one or two researchers to donate beds for people who are a touch strapped for cash, I can probably put up a couple. EV might be able to put one up. He did before.
