*knock knock knock*
erm... hello? Anyone about? Can I come in for a drink?
you see I was just about to start that thing thats really important for uni, but i got flustered. So tidied my room, washed my clothes, darned a hole in my towel, drank some hot beverages and smoked some fags... and now i'm stuck for things to do.
This seemed like a good place to relax and continue to unjangle my guilt ridden procrastinators mind...

Oops!
Sorry, I didn't realise...
I'll tell my tutor that i'll only be accepting deadlines of th non-wooshing variety from now on!
But could I ask what the reason behind the wooshing ban is? I suppose it could be to prevent the overwhelming collective wooshing noise that would surely abound if the ban weren't in place(?)
I was going to check the thread backlog for an explaination, but... well, you know!

A whooshing deadline is too much a reminder of what should have been done right now.
But when you realise a deadline has silently passed a week ago, there is obviously time enough for another first.

I am so busy. Should be busy. Ah well deadlines are there to be avoided.
"I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task." Rule 11 of the Procastinator's creed.
Oh and anyone who knows the origin of the above creed please tell me. Well when you get round to it.
