Oh, Rick.

Take a look at message number 127 on the 'Classical Lims' thread(the one where our Frank had posted). I'm trying not to become neurotic about AHL and what he says about me, but what on earth must others think about his comments? They must think that I am horrible. This is so upsetting yet again. Crocodile tears? If only he knew how hurt I felt/feel, and how many tears I truly cry because of him.

Rick, I can't bear his unkindness. I'm here AGAIN crying. I'm NOT a nasty person. Quite the opposite. But I'm hurting a lot. And now crying a lot.

Hi Polly, you must'nt let yourself get dragged down by that person, every body looks bigger when you are on the floor.
Why some people target people in such a horrid way is just bullying in its purest form, everyone will see how nasty that person is behaving.
Dont let yourself get depressed, head up and keep postingsmiley - hug

Poll, I've just taken a peak at Classic Lims and he's at it again - now you know why I quit! Still, it is good to see Frank around again although he doesn't seem too comunicative at present. It would be good to get him over here away from the Limericks that might involve giving an opening to you know who. Re our enemy, how can anyone think you are horrible? He must be off his trolley.

As for me, I've just come out from spending the day in the loo - actually, I've been fitting a home made bath panel to our newly refurbed bathroom. Now we just want the plumber to fit the new shower unit, tidy up some grouting problems and lay the carpet and it will all be finished. Trouble was the work included laying on my back on the floor screwing the new panels to the frame - didn't help my back ache at all.

I seem to recall you have a back problem - am I right? My regular aches are made worse when I don't do enough exercise. Actually, just one evening at my regular Carper Bowls at the local village hall is enough to ease things - a couple of hours of bending and stooping works wonders.

Jan and I are off to a friend for a meal tonight - one of her teaching friends, so I'll have to drive which means no drinking. Jan is not looking forward to next week - Ofsted on Wednesday to Friday - so that means late nights every night followed by a late booze up on Friday. Ar least it's not so bad as she's been through it many times. Her first one a few years ago conicided with our eldest - Ben - taking A levels, the second - Becs - taking GCSE levels. So for a week, our youngest - Jo and I kept a v low profile and saw to all the meals, ironing, etc.

Thank you, Darling Rick. It hurts so very much. I'm not horrible. I'm not at all. But he makes me feel so angry.

I don't want to leave the R4 MB's because I have a few precious friends there(only a few though. You, Graham, Frank, Mathos, SC). But I can't stand this hounding by AHL.

Can I tell you a little (very stupid) secret? And Graham can read this as well. I keep drinking because I feel so terribly upset. I am now. I don't want to, but I can't bear AHL's cruel remarks.

Poll, do what I did - quit. At least for a week or so, and then return to whatever new threads you haven't been on. Hopefully, by then, AHL might have got over his nasty period, and forgotten about you. After that, play it by ear, but be prepared. You may find he has transferred his nastiness to someone else.

Oh yes, please don't take up booze. I do hope you aren't serious about it. Alcohol is nice to RELAX with, not to rule your life.

Dear Folderol(apologies for the forgetfulness earlier),

I do have a life~~during the day. Evenings do get lonely though. That is where the MB's have played their part.

There is only a handful of 'close' friends there. But they ARE friends (as far as I'm concerned)......

Yes I'm afraid that I have been turning to wine during thse last few upsetting weeks. I am now. I'm unsure how else to cope. I'm not used to nastiness. I HATE being unkind to AHL. But I can't keep pretending that I am untouched by his nastiness. I tried to get his last post taken off the MB, but my request wws refused. Well, I do quite understand.

The lovely Carol Barnes has died. She never got over the sudden death of her daughter. That is very very sad.

Thank you for your kind advice. I know you are very well-meaning. And semsible. Being hurt is unbearable.
xx

Riki (and Pol too!)I've started a posting today on h2g2 'Civilised Limerickers only' for all us disillusioned with the MC boards. It seems to be growing. All being well, there'll be no unpleasantness there. Would be pleased to see you (both) there, and if you're in touch with NiG in his new guise, please let him know too.

I'm just reading all todays nastiness! Golly~~what on earth has happened on the MB's? We were all so happy once upon a time. WE(the old gang of friends) never got annoyed or angry at each other. We loved all the high spirits etc.

AHL has been so utterly beastly to me. That name about a 'hog' is b@@@@y horrid.

Our dear SC keeps going. He's a darling for taking no notice of that moron AHL.

Oh happy days of yore. smiley - hug

Nice to see you here anyway.smiley - smiley

I'll join you in another glass of wine.

I've just said to Rick that mayhem has visited the MB's. What on earth has caused it? Who on earth is that madman AHL? He's a bit like Hi@@@r!
