hey, red, try changing the image to a .gif format. i had two pictures on my page that wouldn't work until i changed them from .jpg to .gif... maybe that will help.

right now it's loading in both my browsers (netscape and IE) so I think maybe it's been fixed. If you guys still tell me otherwise, I'll try it in .gif and see whether it works.

*A huge van, marked CLI, swerves into view, and squeals to a halt. The back door opens, and Affy jumps out, muttering something about Ampton's driving skills, and taking with him something that looks like a cross between a metal detector and a weed wacker. Affy walks on up to Red (Masque)*

Hiya, Red. Now, this might come to a shock to you, but due to the fact that the Celery has been the target of a few assasination attempts and a kidnapping scare, we decided that we should send a CLI investigatory van along. I know that there's no evidence you've been involved in that previous stuff, but your staff seems to have an...how can I say this? Your staff seems to be very enthusiastic about your campaign. So, despite the (few) claims that you're going to do at least one good thing for this community, CLI was sent to look into things. I also wouldn't find it surprising if a few other people (Amy the Ant, Chrome 101, etc.) decided to show up as well. Now, to work!

*Affy turns on the device, and gradually makes his way to the statue*

*A CLI van comes to a park near the statue. The back doros open and Affy jumps out, carrying something that resembles a waffle iron*

Let me apologize for doing this, Red, but for some reason the Celery Campaign Staff thought we should check it out first. It's not that it's you we don't trust (although, that is usually the case), but your staff seems to be extremely zealous lately, and we thought that a gathering of all the presidential candidates in one place might seem like a good opertunity (however you spell it) to your staff members.

*Turns on the device, and starts to make his way towards the statue*

Well, if you're going to run security all over the place, I may as well point out that the Statue has a built in security device. It beeps. It's that little green light you see at the base. It's to prevent graffiti, and to monitor the statue in case of theft. It wasn't CLI designed, I'm afraid, so there's no telling how your detector will react to it.

I can assure you that so long as I'm here my campaign staff and I will be on our best behavior. This is, after all, a publicity meeting, and what kind of image would I be presenting the researchers of the guide with if, at the last minute, I decided to, say, gas the entire congregation gathered before my Memorial satute?
