*stops howling and looks relieved*
Mere mention of Iron Maiden has cleared the obnoxious tones of Tony Orlando and Dawn from my brain's music centers. Thank you, nephew.

S'no problem. At least you show no signs of addiction to it.
Death to false metal!

True what you said, Genocide -- but you can't really blame people for jumping on the nearest available bandwagon. Happens every day in this glorious world of ours.

*evillene glares at genocide revised*
[sea] uh... maybe you shouldn't insult her favorite bands... she gets kinda angry...
[evillene] just because he has terrible taste in music doesn't mean he should insult mine...

Mike A (snowblind) Posted Sep 9, 2000
I get angry too. And I'm not afraid to show it. And not in a sad, miserable "mainstream h2g2 can't-upset-anyone" manner.
you wanna antagonise me?
Memorial Concert
soeasilyamused, or sea Posted Sep 9, 2000
[evillene] bring it on!
*sea holds evillene back*
[sea] we better go befor this turns out like the last time she tried to debate with someone... we both ended up in jail... don't ask.
*sea knocks evillene unconscious and drags her from the forum, muttering something about this being for her own good*

Congraulations sea, for showing maturity. One up on me. If you like, I'll have a scrap with yer evil twin sometime. I think I've got a forum knocking around where we can set something up. You game?
Memorial Concert
soeasilyamused, or sea Posted Sep 9, 2000
[sea] i'm not, but she will be... i'm sure right now she wants to kick both our butts... you for daring to disagree, and me for preventing her from trying to beat you up...

*Shakes his head*
I remember the good ol' days when evillene was the quiet villain. Now she's running around, fighting good and evil alike, causing psychic pyro-technical storms, and all.
Chrome, what's the current band line up? I think I've got some special-effect stuff in the CLI van in the other conversation. If I know who's playing I can provide the special effects.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Sep 10, 2000
The next band up is ... oh no. Status Quo. Affi, I think a really BIG special effect will be called for here.

soeasilyamused, or sea Posted Sep 10, 2000
[sea] evillene was quiet?! yeah, i guess she was... but only because i couldn't be bothered IRL to sign on as her...

Chrome101 Posted Sep 11, 2000
Another thing -- when saw the audience on Top of the Pops jumping on the stage with Limp bizkit, it was the only time I didn't feel like covering them in petrol, tossing a flaming match into their midst, and despatching them to a pap-infested hell...

Chris Tonks Posted Sep 11, 2000
Hehe...
I won't mind Status Quo playing...my brother plays it all the time at home...I've sort of got used to it...

*Grinning, Affy pushes a button on his wristwatch, and Ampton (with several other menial droids) carry out a lot of equipment. A few moments later, several mile high speakers are set up around the statue)*
These speakers, if I connect them, will cause such enormous vibrations as to shatter the bomb and statue, and the sound waves will contain the nuclear blast. Not only that, but we shouldn't hear much of the sound, due to the waves cancelling each other out. I'd do it, but I feel that wouldn't be very nice to the guys at STUMPED.
*Has the bots take away several speakers, and set up several special effects*
I think I'll go listen to some polka music until it's time for Weird Al to show up...unless some band I definitely know that I'll like comes along (such as Audio Adrenaline, fishook, Agape, Steven Curtis Chapman, etc.)
