Id love it to be in Edinburgh... apart from it being the capital its got a great atmosphere.... especially during the Festival! Though anywhere would be great.....

Well, Edinburgh would do for me (I won't be allowed to stay overnight ). I could also do Glasgow (grandmother there) or Perth/Dundee, cos I live there

Edinburgh or Glasgow I think, to make it reasonably central for those coming from up north and those coming from down south!

I suggested this to a couple of h2g2 friends I know in rl, and they thought it was an awful idea, but I can't wait.
As long as none of you are raving loonies (and parental units permitting) it'll be a blast

Tweetie, tell your IRL friends that this is a great idea. They've watched too much Oprah Winfrey and Montel and have just heard about the horror stories of meeting up. Somehow, the only time anything is said about meetings set up by people over the net, is if they go terribly bad. I've been to a couple of net meetings since I went online, and they have all been great.

Either Edinburgh or Glasgow would do fine for me, as long as it's after the 24th of this month.. I'm in a terrible financial drought right now, so next month would be best for my chances to get there.
