Yeesch, I can only do until about the 13th of August, and I may be in a deep dark pit of depression after the 10th (exam results *shudder*).

Well, after the 24th of this month, but before the 10th of August, is a pretty reasonable window of opportunities to get something together, don't you think? Well, at least it's two weekends between those dates.

The format of the London get-togethers involves a non-drinking event in the afternoon (usually a game of rounders/softball) before retiring to the pub in the evening, so if we do that anyone who's too young to drink could come to the afternoon event.
Anyone know any good pubs in Edinburgh?

Personally, I have no clue whatsoever of any good pubs in Edinburgh. The three times I've been in Edinburhg, I was there for reasons other than drinking, so... *shrugs*

Hmm.. I'm tempted to join you all (I'll be back home in Ireland by then), and a trip to Scotland in August might be just what I need. A ferry (or cheap flight) and a youth hostel shouldn't take too much out of my monthly budget should it??

I wouldn't think that it should set you back too much. You could always check with Demon Drawer for trips over from Ireland.

ARSE!!!!!! Why do people always arrange these things when I am somewhere else! Interestingly, I am actually due to fly to Glasgow on the Saturday the twelfth of August (Grouse Shooters providing) so, if it were that night, I could probably make the pub.

Okay, the dates I mentioned are in no way set as dates for the get-together!! I was merely commenting on a time frame that could possibly suit a majority of people. I do apologise for any misunderstandings my previous comment may have caused.

Tweetie, there is a slight possibility that you won't be the youngest. At least not if Halo (Patron saint of Lucky Charms) can work around her parents to be able to come along, she will be the youngest.
