To talk about non-spider issues (and then again?)
14 has started her summer's Potter-mania, I'll have to admit. She's just been seeing the livecast from the premiere and "forced" her Dad to buy tickets for the movie once it comes out in DK. OK, we won't be seeing it at the opening - we're on our scouting summer camp much to 14's dismay - but the day after our return.
(Must admit I'm looking a little forward to to seeing what they've managed to do about the spectacular fights in the ministry)

perhaps we should seek some caring dust - not kicking dust. Which suddenly brings me to the Amber Spyglass and the Northern Lights - is the film out in any parts of the World yet?

Release date for Northern lights is 7 December 2007 as far as I've managed to figure out...

I don't mind missing the movie's opening weekend, as long as I can read the book. And, hee hee hee, I have the first half of the next week off work! So I should be able to get through it spoiler-free.

I hope to be living in normal conditions again by then.... broccoli, power rangers and Dorer the Splorer

Looking forward to seeing that film, although not sure how they will do justice to the books!
My computer is being very frustrating tonight. I have to refresh almost every page I try to look at because it pretends that Internet Explorer can't display the page. Not helpful when trying to read 100+ posts backlog!
Glad Strangely is back.
I haven't looked at the spider pictures. I don't think the gives a true impression of how scary they can be, though. Having said that I am usually the one who rescues other people from spiders and other such things.
I am currently plugged into a 24 hour ECG monitor, which is a new experience for me. I am also attempting to do too many things at once, which is resulting in the dinner being a mess of rice, chicken and tomato sauce. I'm not sure why this is the result of me trying to do too much at once...

Lil posted a 'Clean Cups' link which I managed to simulpost with and cause confusion. New conversation thread, ahoy:

Ooh, LP, that sounds awkward. I hope it's for no serious reason. Come over to the new thread - that's where the rest of us are, and see the amazing scribing job Mol and Lil did this time (link in Lil's last 'clan cups! Clean cups!' post above).

WanderingAlbatross - Wing-tipping down the rollers of life's ocean. Posted Jul 4, 2007
Morning All
Just off to take my morning swim in the backlog pool. Scans the pool for illegal, long line fishing boats. Dips a tentative web in. Hmm, cool

Pulls himself out of backlog pool and emulates a Springer Spaniel shake to get dry.
Huu, where's everybody gone, strangely quiet in here. Weeds beginning to grow across the floor, cobwebs forming on the ceiling, a door bangs somewhere, a dashes for cover.
Takes a quick look back at blog, Dang nab it they've up and oft without me
Key: Complain about this post
