Adopt A Researcher
Alon (aka Mr.Cynic) Posted Apr 10, 2000
I'd like to adopt Mr. Tuba (U108290). He wrote two great articles which he submitted 12 weeks ago (one of which I was lucky enough to edit). He made one forum posting which was not answered and nobody posted on his page. I think he deserves adoption.

Sorry Mr. Cynic but the official qualifying period for lost researchers is 26 weeks with no activity. However, please feel free to adopt that researcher unofficially and if they're not back within the next 14 weeks let me know and I will record an official adoption Maybe you should just drop a line to him and see if it sparks any interest.
How?
Alon (aka Mr.Cynic) Posted Apr 10, 2000
I don't know his e-mail. I hope that when his article gets approved that he will pop back. Question is, will he be bothered and if so will he stay. I left a lame message on his page but I'm not sure if that's enough. Those two Guide Entries a great though.

I'd like to adopt Smoss (http://www.h2g2.com/U33817) if that's ok. If he/she gets back we can talk about contact lenses together.

I blame Asteroid Lil Okay, Okay, maybe I should check out the entries more thoroughly. Malke's info has been corrected .

I found an absent researcher called "Demoness" missing 49 weeks as of 13th April. Four line self introduction no response, no journal entries and a total of 6 posts in five conversations. One guide entry on being bored and reorganising bookmarked sites in your browser
Can be found on:

I'm not interested in adoption just yet though.

I think you should adopt at least that's one Demon you should be able to keep track of.

OK I've got one more to add. R35464 one of the early birds but with one post 49 weeks ago.

If you look at the page I did of guide entries I've rejected a a sub-editor, you will find a few resarchers who've never come back.

I would list them myself, but have not much paper and not much time

Actually, DON'T look at that page. You'll be offended and you'll complain to me and I'll swear at you. It's probably my fault, I haven't even read it for ages!

Not actually done anything more than an intro, but with a 50000 number it must be over 25 weeks.
