Well, the only time I have been in the paper is back in my University days, when the Engineering students (of which I was one) built a concrete block wall across the bridge leading onto campus during morning rush hour. The police just waited around until we were finished gloating and had left, then they removed the wall (the mortar hadn't had time to set). We did numerous other immature pranks before we graduated, but that one was the most in-your-face. We actually did that same prank 3 years running. The first year we did it furtively in the middle of the night. The second year, we did it boldly in the middle of the night. The third year we did it brazenly during morning rush hour. I guess by that time we had matured somewhat (yeah, right ).
On aging: I like Jimmy Buffetts attitude:
I'm growing older but not up
My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck
Let the winds of time blow over my head
I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

Well then, if h2g2 lets me, I'll update the page tonight, after all you Brits get out of the pool.
I posted a long, fascinating, incredibly profound soliloquy about aging last night. Unfortunately, the server ate it.

Good morning! I've actually been up for a few hours, but didn't get a chance to get in here. It's difficult to get to the only place that develops slides needed for a class when you don't have a car

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted May 1, 2000
You know, even though he's blue, Ook *is* an outdoors animal. There's acres and acres of forrest outside for him to play in, so I'm sure he's just getting his exercise!

Here you go, Joanna. c(~)
Does DD mean to say he's only been older than Io for ten years? That's strange...

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted May 1, 2000
Well, then you've been old for Io's entire life, because her definition of old is "Five years more advanced" than she is
