I worked on the lawyer project. If I did anything else, I don't remember. *picks Springie up and settles it in her lap*

Nope, I never even put shoes on. I laundered the dog's bedding. Now there's a major event!

*Lil shuts Ook onto the porch, busses the tables, changes the filters in the IIEM, slings the dozing Mindspring over her shoulder, and heads home to her studio for the night*

Evening... or morning on the other side of the world. IIEM, I'll have an anticoffee... gotta get to sleep some normal time tomorrow night, school is starting.

Why go to the MIT library if only to sit at the computer and go online? Whatever.

Just got back from the Phillies game... close, but they lost. Oh well. Good night all.

*still no sign of the cafe's owner*

Its been okay... I'm recovering from my train journey back to Durham yesterday... I had heavy bags and the muscles in my back are complaining! But its lovely and sunny here...

I've been to Durham! I've been to the cathedral, too. Awesome.

I never made it to the Big Party: there were so many fora going, and the main page was a forest of links. I think, from what I heard and what I observed of the virtual condition of some our the regulars here, that everybody went to the beer tent and got wasted.

Virtual alcohol poisoning. Definately. I'm going to go soon.... since its my first day back I thought I'd go to evensong at the Cathedral.... although on a Sunday its at half past three... more like afternoon-song...

I have to finish a job for a client today. And I have finally got the idea finalised for an h2g2 commission, so I'll do that later. And the Sunday paper awaits me!

Well I'm waiting to see if I amke the local press this week the photographer was down covering our bowls match and took pictures of our rink.

*Enters, reads 2/3s of the way through backlog, skims the rest, reloads the forum, reads the two new posts that have been added while he read the backlog, and hit's "reply"*

That does it! Next time I alter the cafe page, I'm taking Lil off the regulars and making her an employee. She does more work around here than I do! She also made an interesting point about what the forum will be like this summer when the college kids can't get at their free connections -- anybody give any thought to the fact that *my* school gets through with finals in two weeks? My connection at home is oh so much slower

I'll have to do something about that!
This weekend? Well, no car insurance, and short notice, so it's not like I had anywhere to drive, or many friends to do it with. Went to see Eric Idle live at the Orpheum with my brother -- it was hilarious! He'll be down here in Tucson next week . . . or is it tonight? I can't remember.

This is probably the longest, most pointless post I've ever made to the cafe! It's over now.
