That's true.......I wonder if it's anything to do with timelag between the states and here.
Good Morning
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 11, 2000
Yeah, that might be it. I think it has something to do with my computer being on 24/7....

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 11, 2000
*Lil frowns at the prospect of having to do more figgerin'*
Wait a minute. Why should time zones have anything to do with it?
May I have an AL, please?
Doctor J, watch for warbird epostcards! And tomorrow I will go down to the field and see the old things. I hope they're selling tee shirts.
Good Morning

What else can you say? Except, lovely morning innit? And an Asteroid Lil for moi. The scariest thing on my job list -- T*X*S -- is behind me, and now I can get down with my new software and do some studying.

Garius Lupus Posted Apr 11, 2000
Hello, Lil. Still there? I haven't checked my "who's on" thing, but it wasn't long ago you posted.
*Goes to IIEM and orders a Majic Tea*

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 11, 2000
Lil, is Texas really the scariest thing about your job?
~Irving
Good Morning
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 11, 2000
No, but you gotta watch out for the cabs. Scary stuff.
Hi Garius!
I have been frustrated by a URL puzzle. I finally have uploaded some little images onto my ISP's FTP site, and don't know how to name them to another server. I'm a total beginner at this aspect of webhood.
*looks embarrassed*
Good Morning
Penguin Girl - returned at last Posted Apr 11, 2000
Um, lil, do you already have a website up? If so, try its address(assuming it has no .htm or .html after it)followed by image.filetype
Good Morning
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 11, 2000
Hello, Penguin Girl! Can I get you something?

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 11, 2000
I have a www directory in my little allotment of space. Is that the proper destination for the images then?
Better give me an anti-coffee. I am in the grip of a new experience, and, as usual, it's not completely fun.
Good Morning
Ioreth (on hiatus) Posted Apr 12, 2000
Evening. At my "other house" tonight. I'll have a white...
We (school baseball team) drove an hour and a half to get to our game, discovered no one had brought equipment except me, played two hours in the rain really badly, and drove home on a bus with no heat. Brrr... and guess who the only (well, one of two) person on the team who didn't have a jacket or anything?
Make that extra hot, Irv.

C-c-c-commiserations, Io!
Hey, everybody, I did it! I got graphics up, one on my home page and one on a little article about Ferrari. Irv, you can put a link on Ferrari's name on the staff list, now: he's at http://www/h2g2.com/A296525 . Dang, this has been a constructive week so far -- t*x*s and now this!
Let me celebrate with an Italian cream soda, but this time I think I'd like maple and vanilla please.
Good Morning
Doctor John (Patron Saint and Village Physician) Posted Apr 12, 2000
Evening, Lil and others. Just going to have a look at Ferrari's site, then I'll be back for Earl Grey tea and a chat.
