No probs. I've made many similar typos myself.
Now, would you like a refill of Anti-coffee and maybe a doughnut?
Good Morning
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 12, 2000
No, I haven't finished my soda yet, thanks. And I have another float to design.
And now I can design a page for my new studio, the Crater Lab Atelier. Ooo, I'm on an achievement high
Good Morning
Doctor John (Patron Saint and Village Physician) Posted Apr 12, 2000
Go for it Lil! Let us all know the URL when you've finished it and we can all have a look.

Just read the story of Ferrari! Beautiful Picture and tale, Lil! Your Continuity Police would be proud! (Speaking of which, I nearly got a ticket for the Space Needle, which seems to have vanished. Here I account for it logically: It fell into dissuse and was dismantled after Alien put up her Space Center, thereby making it's existence unneccisary).
What float did you mention you were working on? Is Ferrari Marching in the H2G2 parade?
*Makes busy, filling orders* That was extra hot, right Io? *finishes filling orders*
I now have added to the Parade page!

Damn! It took me so long to read the backlog I missed everybody who was here when I logged on Oh well.
*Walks over to IIEM*
Quadruple espresso, please Thirsty work this backlog reading.
Good Morning
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 12, 2000
G'morning y'all... AL, please. Why do I keep saying please to the IIEM?
*catches up on the news*
The Space Needle's been dismantled? Ah, that explains the big thing wrapped in brown paper that Garius, Affy and Ampton hauled into the #2 workroom last night. I heard the thumping and banging and looked down from the window and saw them backing the UFO-Haul up to the doors.
And then Garius said something to Affy about how it was a shame you couldn't logically program a matter transporter to transport itself. And Ampton stomped off to the lab office. I must try to make friends with that bot.
*munches apple spice donut and sips coffee*
Anyway, good riddance to the Needle, but do you think we could put up something for the owls and bats that were settling in? Perhaps a picturesque stone tower with a spiral staircase, or a gazebo with a belfry? Up to you Irv, but you seem to have proprietorship of the forest as well as the cafe...
Good Morning

*Backlog frenzy*
HHhnnyyaaaaaah.
Hokay, you guys really do need a warbird page. There is a really big International happening some time in the summer at RAF Cottesmore in Rutland (home of the legendary Rutles). Lots of stuff from all over the world. There is still one Vulcan which is airworthy in existence and it lives at Bruntingthorpe aerodrome in Leicestershire, UK.
Big + noisy. Love it.
*Walks up to IIEM*
Today I need calm and will be mostly drinking Zen Minimalist Green Tea.
*Assumes lotus position and sups tea*
Vlad.
Good Morning
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 12, 2000
Doctor John has already started a warbird page, but I don't have the number to hand. Just search for Warbird though, and you'll find it. It's brand new, so be patient: Dr J has a lot more stuff he's about to add.
There's only ONE VULCAN left???
I need another AL, hold the donut.
Good Morning
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 12, 2000
Lil, are you saying that the Aroma Café needs an Aviary??? Well, it's certainly an idea. Would make for a lovely porch, wouldn't it? I'll think about it.
I do know that if we have an aviary, I won't be housing warbirds in it. That'd get a bit noisy, don't you think?

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 12, 2000
Oh, I think Dr. John's Warbird aviary will be quite enough...
No, I was thinking of having something more like a Gothick folly out in the forest a little ways. A gazebo would be nice, partly because 'gazebo' is an excellent word and partly because then we could still have singalongs even if it rained. And then a little belfry on top of the gazebo would provide housing for the bats and the barn owls who were nesting in the Space Needle.
An aviary would be difficult to maintain when one of one's regular customers is a Greebo, don't you think?
Good Morning
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 12, 2000
...but a screened-in porch _would_ be nice.
I'll be off for a while. What with the Tomorrows World program, I expect traffic to be really really hard to work through for the next few hours, and anyway, the jets will be roaring about in less than an hour and I want to be outside for that.
See you all later!
Good Morning
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Apr 12, 2000
Greebo's vegan, remember? She wouldn't even eat your marshmallow until we assured her it came off of a majical marshmallow plant

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Apr 13, 2000
*Looks around in surprise*
Where is everybody? Was it really this bad after the Tomorrows World expose?
My word! The donuts have gone stale!! This has never happened. Oh well, for once the birds and squirrels will profit. The fresh donuts are due in in just another couple of hours...*packs stale donuts into paper bag*
I suppose it's even worse because the thread has got so long already. Maybe Irv is actually going to have to move us to another counter after just three days.
Listen to me talking to an IIEM. I'd be better off looking for Ferrari. *sips tea, feeling isolated*
Good Morning

There's an excellent Yiddish word here - much better than singalong - kumsitz. (say the s like a z) Love that.
For variety, I'll have... some coffee. Will need it seeing as how I just got home (school game was excellent - a no-hitter) and now I'm too busy reading backlog to work.
Good Morning

Yo, Ioreth. Howz'it? How's life?
Good Morning
Ioreth (on hiatus) Posted Apr 13, 2000
Life is good!
I walked to the train station from school today as the sun was setting, and everything was all gold and I just sort of smiled all the way there... I have so much to be happy about.
Wow that was sappy.
Good Morning
Researcher 99947 Posted Apr 13, 2000
How about a cherry soda for me? Oh, and a butter rum biscoti, if you have it
Good Morning
Doctor John (Patron Saint and Village Physician) Posted Apr 13, 2000
