I want to be in the Church of the True Weevil.
I wish to be known as The Dead Weevil.

Welcome to the Church, Doctor John. You shall be known as "The Dead Weevil". I hope this will prove to be a pleasantly surreal experience for you.

Dead weevil?? In the name-new-holiday-thread there was arguing about weevils being undead and now they're dead??
And alienated...
Where's this going to end...

Not to fear. Weevils don't die. "The Dead Weevil" is Doctor John's title, and likely refers to the Grateful Dead, not the state of being actually dead.

Oh, good... It would't be nice to see weevils die... Alienated ones can probably be integrated to the society but dead ones -- that might be too hard... Long live weevils!!

I agree. Horrified was I when Frizzychick once asked if weevils hibernated , or if they just died for the winter. Thankfully, even when they die (through no fault of their own, of course), they merely become undead, which puts them in a state pretty much just like before they became undead, except that they are undead. It's not like they drink blood or become zombified or anything. They like a good party just like the next weevil.

N o'T, there is no such thing as a deceased Weevil, therefore they may not become undead. Weevils are!
They may, however, become Dead Weevils because all True Weevils worship Jerry Garcia!!

Actually, the bit about weevils not becoming undead (while probably true for some weevils), kind of goes against what everyone else in the church has been talking about up to this point.
I'm sure everyone worships Jerry Garcia in some way.

Hi! I would Very much like to join the CotTW,and since Spork E. is already covering (we'll assume living) Weevils,
i believe i'd like to be known as the Patron Saint of the UNdead Weevils....
(just since it's in keeping with my present sainthoods, and won't interfere with my avoidance of W*rk (Church of Weekendism(how much attention do undead weevils REALLY require?) -and they apparently like a good party more than the *other* lot... can probably hold their alcohol better too!)
so?

Greetings, Saint Zax. Even undead weevils need the love and digestive bisuits of their human compatriots. They like to party just as much as non-undead weevils. All weevils generally hold their marzipan gin well, although they do sometimes tend to over-do it on occasion (don't we all?).
Welcome to the Church of the True Weevil. I suppose your h2g2 pseudonym will get even longer now.

("All weevils generally hold their marzipan gin well, although they do sometimes tend to over-do it on occasion")
ah... so my weevils need me! LOL
My name: You know, i had cut it back to just 'The Årchangel Zax*', but i started getting flack yesterday cuz i'd stopped signing my posts with all of my sainthoods.. so to save time and energy, i stuck them all in there. do you mind some more advertising?

Wait a minute. A second ago your name was "Saint Zax". You've changed it to "The Archangel Zax"?

Archangel Zax Posted May 8, 2000
It was Saint Zax the Archangel... i had to shorten that cuz it wouldn't all show with the undead weevils bit on there..
ya see, i'm the first saint, and a couple days ago was promoted to Archangel.

You could shorten your name to something like, The Archangel Zax, PSoDI (NGA), PSoB (CotTB), PSoUW (CotTW), & PSoW (CoW). You could elaborate on your home page as to what your full pseudonym is all about.

Should I also add all my titles to my name? I've got a list at the bottom of my page... No I won't... Forget it...

That's nice!! But it's terribly irritating to see a long list of letter after someone's name and no explanation anywhere as often happens... Luckily I now know what yours mean...

Nick O`Teen Posted May 8, 2000
People will go to his home page to learn more.
What does NO'T mean?
Church of the True Weevil II
Alien Posted May 8, 2000
But some people don't tell the meaning even in their home page... That's why I got bored to even look for it...
I'd like to know that too... I first thought it was just a weirdly written "not" but it didn't make sense...
