Do we have any way of finding out how many old-timers are still regular visitors to the site and, if so, who they are? I know I'm one of them, having joined soon after the site was launched. I'm I curious about how many others there are.

I doubt there's any substantial way to find this out. Consider how borked the old "Who's Online" feature is these days. Most of the time you check it shows Nighthoover is active online.

Somehow the flag for a user being active online has been farbled up with a user's page being accessed by anyone (or any bot) else.

At best one could check all the U number pages and see if those users have posted in recent years, but many U numbers are invalid/skipped. Also some users lost their original accounts but still access here with newer accounts.

Basically... Who knows?

The only one who would know for sure what gender frood is would be Douglas Adams,unless Madame Zelda can raise his spirit in a seance...

Is two days fashionably late?

It depends on who you are. If you are royalty, you are on time, while the others are early. Douglas Adams is late now.
