>> Squiggles - that *ain't* poetry. <<
Pay attention son, I never said it 'was' poetry
only that it is formatted in stanza'd verses all
stacked up with left and right justifications the
same way newspaper columns break thoughts
into sound bytes of seeming sense. This can
make sense, make you think or make you angry.
Me, I just enjoy the soft glow from the screen.
It radiates my mind and puts me in a lighter mood
even if it fails to enlighten my burton.
Anyhoo, we've reached 100 posts, or 100% of my
expectations. And managed to pee off a lot of
peeps without reaching any consensus on the OP.
And now I know how some of you really see me.
The fictional flying elephant dog with gentrified
pretensions of being a great vogon poet.
That's a successful thread in my book. Let's leave it
at that before someone says something I'll regret.

You can be a poet without writing poetry. But for myself I grow bored of hard and fast definitions of things in the arts. It ain't rocket science

Yes, Squiggles, when I mentioned RPGs I was entirely (and even mostly) referring to computer games. Well done on yet another assumption based on little knowledge and a lot of prejudice.

Oh, I've got a nasty headcold on top of that as well now...
I think the tooth (site of) might still be infected too.

If you have finished your anti-biotics, you might need another course.
If you leave it, it might flare up even worse than before

That sounds bittersweet. At some point in life, all of us
dream of something better, either for our own lives or for
the world [or sometimes both]. I don't see you in animal
terms. Do I see you at all, in any clear sense? Not yet, not yet....
