Jaysus Twiggy why did you have to post a link to that intelligence thread and cause me to lose about 4 hours?
Anyhow one thing I noticed was this post from BBC Auto Messages:-
"Editorial Note: This Conversation has been moved to the Sin Bin, as the entry in question has now been deleted.
However this shouldn't affect the flow of conversation, and links to it will still work (though they might still show 'Peer Review' at the top)."
Sin bin eh? Sounds a bit like the Bear pit idea that was being discussed back along.

Could you link?
that sounds a thoroughly miserable idea to me. Are we suddenly all North American Ice Hockey?
Sin bin was invented for their testosterone antics..

Personally I think a sin bin is a good idea in many sports. Certainly I think Football referees would have a better tool to deal with abusive players if they didn't just have the slightly blunt tools of yellow/red cards.

I'm very old fashioned about my sports.
I hate all this stuff to do with the bear pit being something really horrible. I can't relate to it.
99% of people don't need that kind of thing.
I see it as something fun and creative.

>some of us are here for the robust debate and others are here for the kind-hearted support.<
Some of us enjoy both here.
Mind you the term, 'kind hearted support' make me a bit uncomfortable..though strangely if I separate out the words I'm more than fine with them
Kind - associated with Kin, kindred I think.
Hearted - love that.
Support - mmm connotations of support workers...but really all good.

referring back to post 559 Mrs Zen. Stumbled on it and was irritated to think those were 2 separate categories of people here.
Key: Complain about this post
