Help me, o Creative Minds Of H2G2....
ninja_albert Started conversation Jul 27, 2005
My girlfriend's friend is having a fancy dress party in a couple of weeks and the theme is "Things beginning with the letter 'G'".
I want something REALLY original and innovative to stand out from all the ghosts, gorillas and gangsters, but unfortunatley am too stupid to think it up myself or even spell "unfortunatley" correctly.
Please help!

Hmmm. Yes.
All good, all suggestions gratefully received, but if you're going to suggest "Greece", "Gullibility" and "Galaxy, can I have some suggestions as to how you think I should actually do it?

That reminds me of a joke. Two spiral galaxies go into a bar and the barman says to one, "out! you're barred!".
I suppose to dress up as a galaxy all you need to do is be dark with lots of stars on you.

Greece: wear a crumbling Acropolis on your head and surround yourself with smog, whilst simultanously imitating a crowd of drunken English folk on holiday - baring your chest, getting outrageously drunk and then vomiting/pissing everywhere. Should be a doddle.
Gullibility: paint yourself yellow and shave of all the hairs on your head apart from 2, which you should comb over. Amputate on finger from each hand. It's an idea, I'm sure you have others...
Galaxy: turn up naked, but covered in chocolate. Obviously.

Garden gnome
Granny Weatherwax
Garfield
Glow-worm
A friend of mine went as a glow-worm to a party by making some cardboard antennae, and fixing a bike light to the back of his jeans.
