What have you done this week that you have never done before?
Mu Beta Started conversation May 11, 2005
I think to do a new thing every day is a bit _too_ challenging, especially for those of us that have a full-time job. But one a week should be within everyone's grasp. And it's good to expand your horizons.
For instance, last night, for the first time ever, I made cheese!
My fridge now has a lump of paneer in the bottom, which I intend to cook in a bhaji with spinach tonight.

I don't think I have enough to entertain KA all week.
Something I've done this week that I've never done before. Hmmm.. Went to a Scottish Meet.

Nothing, I used to be a LOT more adventurous than I am now. All these years working for a local Council seems to have sucked the vitality out of me.

Strnagely enough, not directly connected to chainmail thongs.... Though it may have been connected more directly with the 'chain' part of that phrase

Can't say I've done too much in the last week. About the only thing that springs to mind is persuading a sexy woman to look at a video of octopus camouflage.

I joined H2G2 - something I've been meaning to do for years!
Also, on the 'food' theme, I made some garlic and rosemary bread the other day. I don't think there's a smell to match fresh-baked bread... and if there is, I don't want to know about it!

Ahh, talking of food, I made a soup I'd not ever made before as well this week, was largely a garlic and mushroom and bacon soup

DT and I usually try and cook one new thing a week, but haven't done that yet for this week.
Tonight I'm going to a Uni open night for the first time, let alone Uni in the UK.
Today I was naughty and bought a (big, nay huge) bag of tortilla crisps and some salsa to go with it while I was at work. Think they'll go nicely with my salad
cheers ismarah

Er, we tried a new chip shop. They know how to cook battered sausage but the chips were merely average. I've very fussy about my chips.
I realised if I chuck the ball over the hill in the park the dogs have to run all the way around it to fetch it and this gets them more excessive with minimal effort.
