Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ?

I was third speaker, I just summed up and rebutted. The first person's speech sucked but the second one was good. And I only write my speeches in dot points, but I'll put up all two cue cards worth if you want...

Albatros. I will withdraw totally from the fox hunter as persecuted minority compared to paedophile as persecuted minority. When you do two things.

Recognise that not all people or even all societies share the same views bout sex with children.

Secondly and more importantly when you realise that saying animale welfare is not at the heart of this bill. I am saddened that this bill has been used as a bandwagon by the Labour party, but that does not change the marrow of what this bill does.

It stops a crule way of killing it does not stop the killing as in somecases it might be necessary nor does it protect the fox as a species because its healthy numbers mean it does not need that.

Also if you think that 4x4 drivers need to be restrained then that is a seperate issue ant the continued proliferation of teir owwnership has nothing to do with foxes being killed primarily for the enjoyment of what fox hunters seem only too willing to tell us is not simply a toffs sport. So if Fox hunters tell us its not a class ridden "sport" how is its restriction a class war issue?

Yes, the hunters' slogan "Fight Prejudice - Fight the Ban" hints that there may be some recognition of a class issue on their part. Unless they think the prejudice is directed against people in red jackets, or dog owners, or horse riders, or country-dwellers, which seems unlikely.

Congratulations Cat smiley - cheers
