Odd Travel Question

OK, here's an odd one for you.

My passport expires next year. I currently have one (count it, one) completely blank page left, but sadly no money.

Now, it would be really cool to fill every page in my passport, and opportunities like this don't come around every day. But at the same time, immigration officials seem to be becoming increasingly skilled at finding every last blank quarter-page to use, doing me the 'favour' of preserving my last blank page.

So where can I go - preferably cheap to reach from the UK - that issues full-page visa stamps? Any suggestions?

Don't know about costs, but did you ever watch this film

Might be just what you need. (Not the wedding, the countries)

smiley - laugh you're right, this *is* an odd travel question, but I like it! I'm interested now, though I've not been abroad since I was 11!

You could try one of the various micro-states who've built a bit of an industry around stamping passports - I have a stamp from San Marino in my passport and it looks quite cool

Such willy nilly border crossings are smiley - aliensmile to me. The closest I get to a border crossing is when I get caught in a rip current smiley - surfer. Even so it would have to be a rather ugly rip current to pull me into international waters.

When I used to travel to Saudi Arabia, they used to stamp a full page of my passport with strange squiggles.

But that was nearly 30 yeras ago.

Secretly Not Here Any More

I have a huge full page silver visa in my Passport from my trip to Russia. That's a bit expensive though.

I deal with travel on a daily basis for work and my suggestion would be to renew the passport now and not to try and get the last page stamped.

Much like you must have at least 6 months left on your passport whenever you travel, you must have blank pages in it.

You do get very nice whole page jobbie visas for Russia, China & Saudi and I believe India does a nice one too. And the US usually wants a full page.
