Right-wing documentary targets Occupy:
"Occupy is an attempt “to establish a socialist utopia through revolutionary anarchism” and that the movement must be met with legal and ideological opposition."
In that link of Anhaga, there are more articles portraying Occupy as dirty anarchists.
Right-wing groups have lots of money and a powerful media. They did a huge work against scientists that says that climate change is due mostly to human causes.
There are people who still believe in the contents of the right-wing campains, let´s see what happens with Occupy.
Anhaga, check your sources if you want to sound credible.

My post was a news story that caught my attention.
"Anhaga, check your sources if you want to sound credible."
Are you suggesting that my credibility is doubtful when I say that that particular news story caught my attention?
I made no statement one way or the other about the credibility of the news story.
It caught my attention, as I think it would reasonably catch anyone's attention.
Your reaction suggests that you think that it is impossible for anyone to make a mistake in the name of Occupy or that it is unconscionable for such an error to be reported if it should occur.
I don't know anything about the accuracy of the reporting in that news story, but . . .
*It caught my attention!*
I'll be sure not to post any more stories that catch my attention.
(another thread shut down as far as I'm concerned.)

common anhaga, don´t be so sensitive.
nor disingenous
I know how much you *love* Occupy, and for me you were throwing a log to the bonfire agaisnt that movement. The log had the label of "right-wing crap" on it.
Occupy surely has many mistakes and it´s healthy to point at them. I have no problem with that.

"I know how much you *love* Occupy"
No, apparently you don't.
When I bothered with the Occupy h2g2 love-fest, I made careful points about my personal experience with the occupy camp where I live and about the occupy movement in my country and its relevance here, frequently making the point that I suspect the movement to very relevant and very important in many parts of the world. Apparently because I questioned Occupy's relevance *where I live* I have been labelled some sort of universal Occupy hater, which is absolute bullshit.
But, the label has stuck and shut down the possibility of my voicing any thoughts on the movement, or even a link to a news story about the movement, anywhere on hootoo, without being jumped on.

So it aint just me whats starting to think
that theres a lotta not-thinking going on.
And before anyone accuses me of h2g2-bashing
let me clarify that it aint just here, no sir, itsa
happening everywheres. Its like there's some
sorta shift in the poles, and everybody feels
they gotta take sides and label everything.
Seems to me, having been apolitical, agnostic
and a bachelor all my life that I might be in
danger of having to make some commitments.
Guess I'd best take up a cause, join a few clubs,
find me a god and maybe even a wife and kids.
Naw, on second thought, why bother. Better to
stay as a moving target. Safer. And cheaper.

'Pon furder considerations Ima thinking its
like some sorta natural feedback thing whats
happening. For the past century or so folks
have been having all their cherished beliefs
mocked and shaken apart. They been told we
gotta be nice to forriners and coloureds and
gays and women and cripples and even jews.
So maybe's it's just natural they wanna have
something to get riled up about, something
we can poke a stick at and call names.

The European Court rule that Jordan is a state sponsor of torture in which a fair trial is not possible:
"In the absence of any assurance by Jordan that the torture evidence would not be used against Mr Othman, the Court therefore concluded that his deportation to Jordan to be retried would give rise to a flagrant denial of justice in violation of [his right to a fair trial]".
In this case the European Court is refering to the country and not the B list celeb. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16590662

Financail Services Authority fine two insurance companies for tampering with customer complaint files.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16611668
But what is the point? To maintain profits, these firms will simply pass the fie on and charge more to their customers. The fine goes, I think, to the exchequer.
So this ends up being no more than a tax on people buying insurance.
