Joanna Lumley at the House of Commons Home Affairs Committee - 1:39:19 - 1:55:40 - She uses words like honour, debt, bravery and pride without any irony. Besides which, she's *lovely*.
At 1:48:20 she accuses herself of mumbling to the flusterment of the MPs. See also 1:53 - she is masterly. And finally - "I met the home secretary last november ... I went on my own because I wasn't allowed to take anybody" - she sounds like a school-girl.
She need not have got involved with the campaign at all, and I for one admire her for it and wish them luck.
