Need help, you clever people! On the first, Crimson Room puzzle. I've opened all the drawers, got the ring and the box (and put them together), got the battery and the tape. Now what???

check the curtains, check them again, and again, and again.

I'm a bit stuck on the puzzle with the ACME machine.

Ah, the acme machine. You rechange it by switching it on with nothing in the circle.

Still got a problem with crismon room, though. I've got the two rings, but I think I had something else to open the box.
