As we all know, Coca Cola used to contain small amounts of cocaine (until about 1903). What you may not know is that Coca Cola still uses coca leaves for flavoring. 100 metric tons of dried coca leaves are imported to a factory in New Jersey where they are processed to remove the cocaine from them and then shipped to the Coca Cola company who uses a very secret method to extract a flavor from them. To be able to do this Coca Cola has a special authorization from the US Drug Enforcement Agency to import the coca leaves.

What do they do with the cocaine they´ve extracted? Or would that be useful information?

They still use the stuff nowadays for painless eye surgery. I´d love to get some - it´s better quality than what you buy from a druggie.

Oh deer!
OK. It's officially my birthday (by GMT/UTC not CST yet) and, as I just learned, the anniversary of the day in 1888 when Vincent van Gogh cut off his ear.
