Of Course. An amazing film poking fun at Christianity. There were a few bleatings from the Christian religious faithful, but at least we didn't see the need to kill everyone involved in it. Unfortunately Moslems etc. don't seem to havethe same sense of humour or tolerance.

It wasn't poking fun at Christianity. It was poking fun at all leader-based religions, perhaps, but it was never meant as a dig at Christianity specifically.

Fair enough. But at least we can still retain a sense of humour.

More people have been killed in the name of religion than any other following. but this is getting off the theme of the thread. lets carry the theme forthwith.

Oops. Just read az's response and she's reminded my that I must add Leonard Cohen's Sisters of Mercy to question 5. And Mr. Lightfoot's Go-go Round and Canadian Railroad Trilogy. And pretty much everything else that Cohen and Lightfoot have done.

'there's no way I can pick just one'
Indeed!
That goes for most of the questions. So many are dependent on mood or context.
Now, if it were 'which single cartoon character/book/biscuit/film/music track/holiday location/Girls or boys name/dwelling location/drink/date movie would you like to find yourself on a desert island with' it might be easier to make a specific choice.
For some of them.
