I have to declare an interest in that she's one of my best friends on h2g2, but what about LighthousegirlUK?

Ormondroyd - for the best column in the Post for long long time.
And I'd like to pick two people, with quite differing views, but for the same reason, one mentioned already, the other not:
agcBen
Mikey the Humming Mouse
I don't always agree with them, but I am always *always* interesting in hearing their opinions on a subject

I go along with all the nominations so far plus of interest and further nominees:
Fenchurch M Mercury was U37819. She did, indeed, create some wonderful fish when we were allowed our own pictures on site and eventually became Virtual Mayor of h2g2:
A501229 Mayor Fenny
U27618 MadMunk was another early giant who always had time to spare to help the struggling with guideML
U37846 TVs Frink instigated probably the first major club on h2g2 by starting the wonderful central meeting place which was:
P112924 Frinks Drinks
U33262 John-the-gardener for being the gentle campaigner
And U33922 Wowbagger for the wonderful cartoons over the years.

Come on folks - you've forgotten the researcher who's managed to have the greatest effect on the site (per post) of all past and present h2g2 researchers....
Nighthoover - one post and he ends up deified!
I'll get me coat

*lurks in the hope that one day he will be included in such a list but has not been here long enough, or debated enough, to even lurk on this page.....ooops.*

Having been part of the community for an all to brief time, I can only mention those few people who have made me think, challenge, laugh, and respond.
AGC Ben for being a questioning voice, a person who know where we were going and knows where we are headed, and a friend.
Saturnine for being young and strong and opinionated and things I barely remember.
2Legs for being 2Legs, no other.
Blatherskate for being intelligent and strong willed, even if I don't always agree.
Abbinormal who I lurk shamelessly!
Anhaga for being a strong Canadian voice when I have lost most of mine.
The Aussies, the Canucks, the Americans, the ones in strange places with different ideas and points of view!
Nighthoover, of course.
All the others much too numerous to mention, but especially all the newbies with their new ideas, ways of doing things, and preconceptions. Long may they shake the tree!

Hmm... no one's mentioned too many people who are no longer here...
What about Billy Pilgrim (U101543 I think), Possum (U114004), Kristina Marie (who I think changed her name) and Amanda P (whose u-page I also can't find)?
Key: Complain about this post
