do you, like me, have a pre-conceived idea about what other researchers you have not met yet look like? i do it all the time, and get it wrong. for example, i used to listen to chris moyles on radio 1 and i got the image that he was a tall thin man with dark hair. turns out he's a fat git with brown hair!
anyway, tell me what you think who looks like. i will start with;
Reefgirl- about 5'6" with blondish hair and cuddly like.

I, and I know several others, had some rather preconceived ideas about what researcher Ekki (U130666) would look like. We were rather expecting a short nerdy looking bloke with long and rather greasy hair - all a bit unpleasant actually. What we got was a tall rather attractive, and extremely well spoken young man.

i am also thinking that pre-concieving someone elses appearance may have a connection to your own psychological condition of mind. i.e. preconcieve someone to be strong and athletic may mean that you are strong in mind and a hard thinker?
just a theory though

Possibly, but in this case it was the massive Monty Python reference in the name. The belief being that anyone who would give themselves that sort of a nickname on h2g2 must be a bit of an obsessive.
I'm happy to have been proved wrong

2legs - i think, due to you always having pasta and sausages, that you are a bit chubby. possibly around 14-15stone, short blonde hair and chubby fingers. red cheeks and a jolly face. no tattoos?

I am 40 but very young looking (young looking face) 5ft, female with brown hair and eyes and petit built. Alot of researchers thought I was a man.

Last time this topic cropped up, a disturbing number of researchers imagined me as a man in a lab coat with a pint of beer in one hand.

It really is Silly Monday on h2g2 today, isn't it?
I've only participated in one even vaguely sensible thread today, and that was about football.
