Also, films being shown post-watershed for no reason. For example, some time ago ITV screened Maverick at something like 11:30pm. There's no gratuitous sex, violence or bad language in that film, so why show it so late?

The idea of the watershed is that before it, no programmes should contain excess violence (or whatever) - not that after it, all programmes should.

My point is that there are plenty of films that can only be shown post-watershed. Why show a film post-watershed when that film can be shown earlier?

proberbly becasue they thought of it as a filler rather than somthing the majoraty of people want to wach.
hate of the day (even though its everyday) the british obsession with celbraty i mean who cares that they shop in tescoes and have a new boy friend. this crap fills 90% of so called news papers when there are far more important things to put in or if not make it smaller and save trees you boring anoying evil people

Companies that sell beds online, but don't give you enough information about size. They'll tell you width and length, but not height. If they do specify height, it's the height of the highest point - the top of the headboard. Few tell you how high the bed is off the ground.
I have hip problems, hubby has back problems. The last thing we need is to be virtually sleeping on the floor.
