Well, there's that. But plain old sugar and coconut oil is pretty unbeatable too.

Does anyone know where to get replacement spiral springs? Not the tunnel coils, I have those. But the spirals.
At least I think that's the issue - the tension has been too high for a while, but suddenly it's just slack. Can't get a good bounce out of it for love or money.

I too wear organic foam rubber, but it has to be Helsig breathability factor 3750 to prevent lesions.

I've seen my old friend, who's a vet, using very long plastic gloves and a three-legged stool to check the stool of four-legged mammals.
Those tree-legged stools are classical, you know,

The tripod base is really stable once you get it aligned, that's true.

I find it a bit fiddly though, since the weight of the equipment makes the leg adjustment precarious - the counterweights must be well calibrated, or else the whole assembly will come crashing down.

And don't get me started on finding the center of gravity, for where to put the tripod! Sometimes I'm ready to just shift to two solid legs and a third adjustable leg, in separate corners of the base platform.

I wonder if this would help any of us?

The Omnibombulator

This unusual instrument is operated by selecting one of the four switch-positions A, B, C, D and turning the power on. The effects are:

Position A - The pratching valve glows and the queech obulates
Position B - The queech obulates and the urfer curls up, but the rumption does not get hot
Position C - The sneeveling rod turns clockwise, the pratching valve glows and the queech fails to obulate
Position D - The troglodyser gives off hydrogen but the urfer does not curl up

Whenever the pratching valve glows the rumption gets hot. Unless the sneeveling rod turns clockwise, the queech cannot obulate, but if the sneeveling rod is turning clockwise the troglodyser will not emit hydrogen. If the urfer does not curl up you may be sure that the rumption is not getting hot.
In order to get milk chocolate from the machine you must ensure (a) that the sneeveling rod is turning clockwise AND (b) that, if the troglodyser is emitting hydrogen then the pratching valve is glowing, but that if the troglodyser is not emitting hydrogen, the queech is not obulating. Which switch position would you select?

If, tiring of chocolate, you wish to receive the Third Programme you must take care (a) that the rumption does not get hot AND (b) either the urfer doesn't curl and the queech doesn't obulate OR that the pratching valve glows and the troglodyser fails to emit hydrogen. Which switch position would you select?

Not if the queech fails to obulate and that's for sure.

Wait a sec ... do you live in the eastern or western hemisphere?

totally sure. Not sure on hemisphere as the Thwaites custom geolocator is not working. We have the variable latitude combobulator though and that says at least 1 degree.
I should add I have hit it with a hammer several times as per the instruction manual.

Ah, but was it a left or right hand hammer?
