Not as exciting as that.
You might want to find out what sort of writing he was doing. It's a bit far fetched though.

Oh... and the tightrope walker's mystery was a bit more complicated than that.
All right, all right. I'll tell you.
The tightrope walker was blindfolded. Her lover, who played the piano, wanted to punish her for her infidelity. He knew that her routine depended upon the music, and when the music stopped, she should be standing on the last bit of rope near the platform. So he played the music a bit short one day... and watched as she felt for the platform that wasn't there with her feet, and then fell to her death.
So that's the mystery. Jeez, you guys have no patience...

Zantic - Who is this woman?? Posted Dec 3, 2002
Was he actually writing a letter in the sky when this electrical storm came thoughtlessly along and shorted out his plane?

Awl wright.
A man walks into a restaurant, sits down and orders a meal. When it arrives, he takes a bite, screams, and runs out of the restaurant. What happened?

Is it ok to ask more than one question at a time?
If so...
Was he in a *foreign* [to him] restaurant?
Was he served something *shocking* from his cultural perspective?
Was he a vegetarian?
Was he served meat?
Mini Mysteries!
Lentilla (Keeper of Non-Sequiturs) Posted Dec 6, 2002
Yeah, it's okay to ask more than one question... if we were just sitting around, this'd go a lot quicker.
Hmm... no to all.

Lentilla (Keeper of Non-Sequiturs) Posted Dec 6, 2002
Oops - I'm sorry. Yes to his being served meat (but he wasn't a vegetarian.)
