Mini Mysteries!

What, you've never heard of a mini-mystery? A mini-mystery is basically a puzzle composed of one to three sentences. The object is to figure out the mystery by asking questions of the Mystery Meister. The Mystery Meister can only respond with 'yes,' 'no,' or 'That's irrelevant.' For example, I can't answer the question 'What color was the moose?' but I can answer 'Was the moose purple?'
If you already know the answer, don't blurt it out! Either lurk quietly, or you can help out by answering questions and moving the mystery along.
Here's the first mystery. It's an easy one, I promise.
Tina and Judy were found dead in a puddle of water and glass. What happened?

Did they die when their house burned down?

Stephen Posted Nov 22, 2002
Did they have 4 second memories (allegedly)?
If we're talking goldfish here I thought it was seven. Though how nayone knows.......?

Stephen Posted Nov 22, 2002
Perhaps the real challenge should be to design an experiment to determine how long a goldfishes memory should be!

Was the window in the room that contained the aquarium/gold fish bowl open?
Mini Mysteries!
Sneijder Posted Nov 22, 2002
I'll kick start this again,
Were they goldfish, thier bowl fell and smashed, they died ?
Another fishy tale :
Man is found dead in a 'phone box next to a river, he's bled to death as his wrists are cut wide open. The glass is smashed either side of the 'box, and the phone is still under his chin, where is was holding it 'hands free'. What happened ?

Something to do with the guillotine or being beheaded?
Mini Mysteries!
Lentilla (Keeper of Non-Sequiturs) Posted Nov 23, 2002
That's cool. The first mystery's been solved, just heard a second one I hadn't heard before, and now here's this third one I haven't heard yet.
'If he'd seen the sawdust he wouldn't have died.'
All right... was this man murdered?
Second question... was it in his home?
Mini Mysteries!
Odo Posted Nov 23, 2002
Sorry all, minor real life crisis.
Teasswill, no to both suggestions.
Lentilla: 1. murdered, in a way yes, (can't give that one a deffinate yes/no, it depends on how you look at murder.)
2. In his home, yes.
