We put some bread on the balcony outside our bedroom window, and have tied some wind chimes to the branch of a nearby tree. Hungry ring-necked doves come to investigate. When they land on the tree branch they set off the windchimes which announces to us that the restaurant is open. I then get to photograph them while they eat. Today I got twenty pictures of ring tailed doves, and I showed them to my wife and she smiled like the moon might if someone gave it a chocolate button for no reason.

Damn, you write well.
My friend got money that she desperately needs, and we all got a break from work.

Thanks Elly.
Something weird happened to the doves half way through the paragraph though. Looks like their rings slipped

The moon with chocolate button makes mine look mundane by comparison. I had a lovely long chat with my main squeeze on the phone. So often he is too busy and to tired to talk, and he has had a busy and tiring week - it was lovely to blether about everything and nothing for half an hour or so.

The minutes when the sun was shining in between the times when it was raining and hailing. Yep, It's truly April in Berlin.

Similar in Paris.
But we had three weeks of almost summer weather before, so we know what we regret.

I patched things up with my dearest friend this afternoon, after a catastrophic falling-out last weekend.

I didn't put spoiled milk on my cereal!!
My day normally starts like this
1. tell my alarm clok off for waking me up five minutes too early
2. stagger to kitchen
3. get bowl of cereal
4. get milk
5. pour milk on cereal
but today I decided to pour my milk in a cup so that i could figure out exactly how much milk I actually drink (I live in a shared house so that would be useful to know). So I pour my milk in the cup and this disgusting foamy yucky stuff came out -- the milk was spoiled.
the best part of my day was that i got some of my flatmate's milk out of the fridge and was able to enjoy my cereal instead of being sick from the spoiled milk.
it's still early so i might find $50 later on....
