Best thing today? Errrrm, bought replacement copy of HHG2TG as mine is on v. long term loan to best friend and was missing it, and its falling apart anyway. Am looking forward to reading it.
Next best thing will be going out tonight. May even find tall dark intelligent hairy man but the way my luck's going @ the mo, v. unlikely!

i got to sit on my new couch, had a celebratory 
in honor of the departure of it's predecessor.
also debated purchasing a gift for a friend, decided to do it in the end. i hope they like it!

It's early still, so anything can happen, but the nicest thing happened just now. I've been sitting beside my bedroom window with the blinds up to let the sunshine in, and the sweetest little bird sat on my window ledge and started singing to me. I pushed the window open a bit, and he's sharing my toast with me.
