Apparently, between Iowa, Oklahoma, and Illinois, there were over fifty tornadoes yesterday. Luckily, they stayed southeast of Minnesota, and all we got was some rain, which is still coming down. It's about sixty degrees F now.

Lovely sunny morning - am sitting on the back step with my coffee...ah the power of WiFi.
I wonder if I'll get a good enough signal from the beach.

It's absolutely beautiful! Barely a cloud in the sky and just the right temperature, about 14 degrees C, expected to rise to about 18 or 19. Yesterday was almost exactly the same. Perfect cycling weather. Shame I have to go into w**k

DoppelgangerBumboof,
Where are you? I'm in Colorado and I can relate to your weather. Two days ago it was 80F and yesterday it snowed. It's snowing again now ... only a few inches of accumulation though. I love spring!

Ivan the Terribly Average Posted May 1, 2004
Canberra, 11:15am Saturday 1 May.
It's about 15C, cloudy, and rather windy. Leaves everywhere, and dust clouds rising. Still no ing rain. We had 2mm of rain for all of April (which is alleged to be autumn, remember) - the April average is about 50mm. Everything in the garden is looking either dead or moribund, and the kangaroos that come down from the hills to feed in people's gardens are looking quite stressed. (They'll cope, though - they're designed for this climate.)
Ivan.
