A bit non-descript really. But warmer than it has been in recent months.

Just west of London, 12:30. My, but it's lovely out there - sunshine, birdsong, warm enough to go about without a coat, and I'm stuck in here

The sun is out, the sky is blue, there's not a cloud to spoil the view. It's quite warm also, with less wind than yesterday. I do believe spring has sprung.

Milan last few days.
It has been lovely here, bright and sunny with the occasional cloud to break up the monotony. Warm in the sunshine but with a cold breeze. So much better than the weekend in Maidenhead UK when it was cloudy, cold and threatening rain.

Canberra, 5:50pm Sunday 4 April.
About 18C, heavily overcast, no rain. Cool breeze. Leaves starting to fall.
It's been a good day for bird-watching. At the moment there's about 20 sulphur-crested cockatoos on the lawn, eating acorns. http://www.aviceda.org/abid/search.php?action=searchresult&p=4&keyword=sulphur-crested+cockatoo
There's also a few rosellas: http://www.aviceda.org/abid/search.php?action=searchresult&p=4&keyword=crimson+rosella
Somwhere there's a currawong; I can hear it but not see it. http://www.aviceda.org/abid/search.php?action=searchresult&p=4&keyword=currawong

Just west of London, UK. Sunny but with lots of big looming clouds, and rather windy. Not as warm as it has been.

19C The sun is out and the sky is blue, but still low-seeming from the last three days of very unseasonal rain. There's a steady moderate breeze, enough to move metal windchimes and windspinners.

Decidedly dull here. One might almost describe it as banal, but I've never heard a weather person use that word. I spose I'll have to go for 'overcast'. I've never worked out what they mean by 'mild'. They usually use it to mean 'slightly warmish and quite nice' (which it isn't today), but it could just as easily mean 'mildly wet' (which it suddenly now is), or 'mildly unpleasant'.
