I like really strong cheddars such as Krackerbarrel, Wexford, Dubliner and "Seriously Strong Cheddar".

I'm also fond of a bit of Wensleydale.

If it's on toast, then Gouda.

Any halloumi fans out there, by the way? Now that's an unusual cheese - lovely grilled though smiley - smiley

I like stilton and apricot. Dutch cheeses are nice like edam and gouda, but they are a little tasteless. Mozzerella is nice on salads.

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

Extra Mature Canadian Cheddar. Any cheese with a strong flavour.

I agree with the cheese on toast post, but not toasted cheese smiley - yuk. Just hot toast and butter, with freshly sliced chhese. Oh! And of course it has to have marmite on smiley - tongueout. That goes without saying smiley - laugh

Toast the bread on one side, spread marmite very thinly on the other side, put slices of cheddar on it, toast until the cheddar bubbles, then add a little bit of tomato. Delicious.

Oh well, that's just Emmily, messing up as usual. smiley - laugh

My favourite cheese Mild Cheedar.

Though I once had a bottle of wine and a cheese delivered from Natwest Bank after I had complained. That cheese was the best I've ever tasted, but I have no idea what is what called. smiley - doh

Really? What a cool vacation that would make! (And somehow, I don't think I'd have much difficulty convincing my better half to visit a city named "Bra", at any time of year. smiley - winkeye)

Welcome to h2g2, and thanks for the interesting questions!

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I'd probably have to say chedder is my favourate, as I certainly get through a lot of it, favourate chedder is unpasturised Island of Mull organic, but any good strong chedder, like the Canadian chedders are good smiley - drool I also eat probably as much brie as I do chedder, sliced thinly on toasted Pain o levain, or rye, or just French bread/baguettes smiley - erm Stilton would also have to be one of my favourates, they do a loverly unpasturised organic one over the road, which I can't for the life of me remember the name of smiley - dohsmiley - headhurts Mozarella, buffalo mozarella is good too.... theres just so many differnet cheeses to choose from, and some are more suited to certain dishs etc., smiley - dohsmiley - drool
