Suicide bombing. Gaza Street. Bus no. 19 - quite a student bus, going between two campuses and through downtown.
I'm making phonecalls now, trying to find out if everybody I know is alright.

I just want to thank everybody that offered their sympathy.
I'm much better now, once again I've been lucky enough and nobody I know was there...
Hopefully I'll recover from the shock later today, and will be able to resume posting nonsense.

I do enjoy the nonsense, usually. It's just that... after something like that, fake battles don't seem all that fun anymore, you know?

But don't worry, I'll be back to my h2g2-self soon enough, ready to drive our competitors from across the ocean insane with acts of random madness.

At the moment, I don't have much of a choice.

But even if I had a choice - and trust me, this is something I have been thinking about - I don't know if I could leave.
This is where I was born, where I grew up, probably the only place where I feel I belong. It's in a terrible state at the moment, and sometimes I wish I could just leave, but it's not as simple as you put it. I don't know if you can understand what it feels like, to love and hate a place at the same time like that. It's complicated.

I know how you feel. I live in Ireland where it's cold and constantly rains. But I cant leave because there are no snakes or deadly spiders living here, and I have an insane fear of them.
