Hello Happy, my desktop is really boring and littered with random icons. I had to post because although it's still early here, I have followed a link twice already this morning to Deviant art.
I'd never heard of it before. Do you have to pay a subscription to look at the art, or only if you wish you use some of it?

lanzababy - to answer your question as I understand it at DeviantArt the artist retains copyright and decides on the charging policy - much is free but some you will find larger images only available for a fee.

Brilliant, I had to re-install windows but forgot the name of a sound editor 'audacity' until I saw your desktop. 
My backup files failed as well, 5 dvd's of useless data, useless free recovery program.

To un-clutter my desktop so I can watch videos in VLC Media Player as a DirectX wallpaper I created a folder called "desktopstuff" and put all the icons in that. Then right click on the toolbar and click add menu and add that folder. I find it much easier to use.
