Now I think I found out how to start a thread, we will say whether I am right... or not.
Well I am way to tired to think of something smart to post in both languages, so I will try tomorrow, I think.

thread = der Faden, Zwirn.
Aber vielleicht hat das in der Internetsprache einen eigenen Namen
Maybe there is a different name in the internet language.

Deutschsprechende nennen das ebenfalls "Thread".
"Faden" oder "Zwirn" würde in diesem Zusammenhang keinen Sinn machen.
German speaking people also call it "thread".
"Faden" or "Zwirn" wouldn't make any sense in this context.

Gerade in der Deutschen Sprache werden viele Ausdruecke aus dem Englischen uebernommen. Daher ist es keine Ueberraschung, dass thread einfach thread geblieben ist.
Escpecially in the German language many expressions are adopted from the English. Therefore it is no surpirse that thread remains a thread.
A problem I am running into is that translating a good German sentence will not make a good English one...

Mich schon. Ich schreibe in Englisch genauso schnell wie im Deutschen, und ueberfliege den Text nur, und daher ist mein Deutsch fast so schlecht wie mein Englisch.
It has me. I am used to write down the English as fast as the German and to only skim the writing, and therefore my German is almost as bad as my English.

Eben, genau das meine ich ja. Einfach frei von der Leber weg getippt und das paßt dann schon. 
Tippfehler sind hier ja in der normalen Konversation egal.
Exactly what I meant. Just typing away and she'll be right. Noone here cares about typos in normal conversations.

Ich bin in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen, lebe aber seit einigen Jahren in den Staaten. Ueber die Zeit wird mein schriftliches Deutsch schlechter und mein Englisch auch.
I was born and raised in Germany, but currently I am living in the US for a couple of years. Over the years my written German degrades and my English too.

Weil ich nicht mehr so aufmerksam bin. Ich benutze das Englische wie meine Muttersprache, aber sie ist das nicht
It's because I am not paying so much attention anymoe. I am using the English like my mother tongue, though it's not.

Viele Sprache haben nicht eigene Wörter für Internet und andere teknologische Termen, glaube ich. Wahrscheinlich denn neue Teknologie fast immer im Englisch promoviert ist, oder?
Many languages doesn't have their own words for internet and other technological terms, I think. Probably because new technology as good as always is promoted in English, or something?
...or something to that extent. Bob my German is rusty!
