h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*You hear a load CRASH! of as Craxus comes bashing through the steal door with his black ninja motorcycle.*

*Craxus jumps off in mid air and shoots 2 shots each into the guards posted by the door.*

*The corridor stretches down into the long, rectangular building, wide enough for four people to stand side-by-side. Halogen lights illuminate the whole area, and off to each side a door leads into a lab, spaced a good fifteen feet apart. Sirens begin to wail as the doors' blast shields decend.*

*A smooth S.P.A.R.T.A.N. suit marches up, empty, and stands beside Craxus.*

[Daedalus] What next?

Hmm now we can go shopping or wait for the others. Daedalus what do you wanna do?

*There is a shimmer next to Craxus, suddenly, he feels a knife against his throat, but can niether see nor hear the one who holds it.*

[disembodied voice of AD Mourryan over corridor loudspeakers] All of you leave this facility now.

[Daedalus] Switching to infrared mode...

*Daedalus's SPARTAN swings an arm at HDS's hidden form.*

*throws (extremely heavy(* earthenware cup at HDS's head*

Bugger that for a lark...

There is a difference between HDS and Mourryan. HDS is not here, Mourryan is

*AD Mourryan duck the arm barely, stbbing at Craxus's knee as he does. With his other hand he throws a grenade at the mech's feet. The ducking also has the effect of making the earthen ware thingamijigger fly over Mourryan's head and at Craxus's side*

*Craxus pulls out his hellsing handgun and puts it underneith his arm slowly and fires a few rounds toward the person holding the knife near his throat.*

*Flicks her scythe from the scabbard on her back and brings it to rest on the new dude (I can't remember his name)'s neck. She presses the pale blue blade ever so slightly into the skin.*

The odds look to be against you, friend...

some clarifiactions. 1) Jade, you can't see me, I can't see me, no one besides D can see me. 2) Craxus, my knife is no onger at your throat, I ducked a blow by D's suit and stabbed at your knee. 3) also to craxus, there is a rather heavy cup flying ever closer to your side. And there is high explosive grenade between D's suit's feet. It will be going off soon I imagine.

*Mourryan quickly slides his knife in between the sythe and his neck and pushes it away from his neck and over his head, the then leaps away from the group of villians and silently jogs to a distance of about 20 meters away. The grenade detonates and sprays fire and flechettes for abour 15 meters. Mourryan eyes the smoke for any sign of movement or life and tenses to prepare to attack or defend*

that blast range is accurate by the way. The movies don't show it right, the blast radious is 15 meters for a normal "pine-apple" grenade. Gods bless R. Lee Ermy, he teaches me so much!

While you are correct about the sight thing, I am an elf and I can sense things... So yeah. Deal with my scythe! ...and I can see that you have.

BTW, wait for someone else to post before you use the next move. D could have kicked the grenade away with no problem...

*The grenade skitters down the corridor, blowing a hole in one side. At the end of the hall, the air shimmers.*

*Picks out impact detonating grenade and throws it at the armored suit (when it hits /anything/ other than air it will detonate imediately)*

*The suit moves out of the way, and is knocked forward by the blast from behind. It hits the ground, raises a hand, and opens fire.*

*Mourryan dives aside and throws another 4 impact grenades*
