This is probably a stupid question, but why does the subbie's name stay attached to the entry after it joins the guide? it's in my PS, but I didn't write it. I feel like a plagiarist.

You are credited under "Edited by", for that is what you did. Admittedly it might be nice for your PS to have a list of just those you actually wrote, with those you edited in another list.
