I was sat in the pub this evening with the good lady wife and Phil chatting about organising this meet when it dawned on me how many people, physically, have actually signed up. With the ones I've not added yet, the tentatives, the keeping it quiet for nows, and partners and hangers on, we're over 50. This is shaping up for the largest meet ever. My response was: oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.
Thankfully only one thing isn't fully confirmed.

Whether the it hits the fan?

It'll be fine. Only been to one Meet that didn't work as planned, and that was my first.

Can't be worse. Just frisk everyone for cans of drink before entering the pub.

It'll certainly be fine. It was just that I'd realised the numbers of definites and maybes would fill the downstairs of the pub we were in. When you see it "physically" and it stops being numbers on paper or in your mind, you suddenly realise how many people that actually is.
