Monday 13th January - Reactivating the Testers Team

While we're on the subject of fault and bug reporting may I ask if
anyone knows how to contact the people at Google Maps properly.
A fifteen mile section of the road I live on went dark on Streetview
almost a year ago and I have spent hours and much energy trying
to find out why and how it might be fixed.
The 'report a problem' function only ever gets me an autobot response
that there is no apparent "content that needs to be edited or pixellated"
in the reported area, and my query is dismissed.
I later got into some sort of sub-group of google-type supporters who
finally said they *got* my question and understood the problem but that
they could not do anything about it and would pass it along up some
chain of command.
And yet, I have heard no more and it remains blacked out. I am in a
15 mile dark zone along a 50 mile major cross-country highway -
and no one knows why.
Any sort of contact info would be greatly appreciated.

The report problem takes about six months for them to get back to you.

I asked for my postcode to be corrected when I moved to my new house a year ago. It got done a couple of months ago.
Their backlog is probably colossal.

Ask Snowden. There probably is something very secret and scary where you live
maybe it's you?
