Captain America is a character who has been saving the world since the 1940s - surely he's deserved a promotion by now? Not necessarily all the way up to Field Marshal America, but Colonel America at least. Or is he the very model of a modern Major-General?

And presumably he's earned a medal of honour for at least one of his dramatic daring-dos and so is entitled to a salute from anyone, and I'd think he'd be given lots of free stuff anyway - so better to stay a captain (any higher and he'd actually be in trouble for charging in at the front)

Chris Evans the actor has said that he is growing bald, and will likely need to wear hairpieces more and more. Anthony Edwards suffered from the same problem, but carved out a nice career for himself, especially as Doctor Green on the TV series "ER."
